Okay, so earlier this year I lost alot of weight in a short period of time, eating less than 700 calories a day for about 2 months. Following that weight loss, has been 5 (going on 6) months of non-stop binging everyday, to the point of being so full it hurts. And because of that, I gained those 20lbs back, plus more.
I’m having trouble getting and staying motivated. Help me??
Oh and I’m 15, 135lbs, and 5’6
Eating only 700 calories a day is not the right way to loose weight, as you found out. Right now you need to make a continuous effort to stop that binging. Make sure you get a small plate, do not over fill it. (Make sure too, that what you fill it with is half way healthy) Eat that food slowly. Then walk away. Make sure you drink an 8 oz bottle of water with your meal. Have a small snack after two or three hours. Then repeat the next meal with a small plate. Drink lots of water or low calorie drinks over the course of the day. Try to take some longer walks- if you are not in the kitchen you can’t eat. (Leave your money at home).
If you fall of the wagon, just start right away again, not the next day, but with the next meal. Good Luck.

why dont they just stop eating… its sooo easy… i used to be a little fat, didnt eat for a day and it was over lol
Because people are being told that there is an end all be all diet pill out there and they refuse to accept that it will take hard work and discipline to lose weight. So they never take the weight off and they complain about it.

I want to get a slimmer but i’m currently on birth control and i dont know if using this pill will effect my birth control. Can someone who has used it before or is knowledgeable about the this diet pill help me out PLEASE?
Thank you!
You would need to look at the list of ingredients which should be on the pack.
Google each one, then look online or on the leaflet in the birth control pack and read interactions.

People keep asking me how I did it. I kept a Journal of calories, protein, carbs, ect consumed and also what workouts I did that day. How could I publish that journal and sell to other people to help them with their weight loss goals?
Get it printed in your local photocopy shop.Get a book agent to share your diary out to bookstores and libraries and you have your anwser.

Over the past little while I’ve been gaining weight like mad and now i feel fat and ugly no matter what i’m wearing or doing and i really want to lose weight and get back in shape, i used to be a gymnast but i moved and no longer have access to a gymnastics center its been a year or 2 and up intill a few months ago ive been fine i gained almost 25 pounds in 5 months and would like to lose it :/ thanks for you help.
When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.
If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which
will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow
underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without
exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For
diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don’t eat wheat then you don’t eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don’t eat junk food, and you don’t eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It’s not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym – a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

im starting a diet, i’ve read loads of foods that are good to eat when trying to lose weight and loads of foods that are bad to eat when trying to lose weight.
it said ham is bad when trying to lose weight, do you think that means processed ham or ham in general? i want to know what other meats are ok to eat when trying to lose weight.
Instead of saying what you "CAN"T" eat, I will say what the healthiest kinds are: Fish(salmon, tuna & sardines are #1), bison(great for burgers),white meat chicken(preferably skinless) or whole roasted chickens are great too, and really tasty! Ground Turkey is good as well, just sub it in for ground beef.

I’ve been trying to lose weight for a while now, I go to the gym everyday and follow guidelines on what I eat. But I never see results, which leads me to lose motivation and ultimately gain more weight. I’m looking for something that isn’t a permanent thing, but just to help me kick start my weight loss and keep my motivation! If there’s any that you have taken and it worked (or didn’t) let me know! thanks
Bad news not only do diet pills not work, but so called dieters like you who try for the quick fix have a 2 in 3 chance of ending up heavier in the long term!
Do you see the box near the top of the page?
The one labelled ‘Search for questions: ‘?
Well type in ‘lose weight’.
You will find over 518,682 pre-existing questions.
Try the misspellings ‘loose weight’ and there are another 119,033
In all there are over 637,715 Health section questions requesting solutions to being or thinking you might be overweight.
On average these each yield 6 answers, that is nearly 4 million answers.
(Without searching for any other variations on the question!)
I can usefully summarise these answers in 4 words:
EAT LESS DO MORE. Are you desperate enough to try this???

I’m 17 (almost 18), so I can’t buy any of those dietary supplements that are behind the glass doors, but I want to know if anyone has some successful experience with diet/weight-loss pills to recommend for me? I have a workout plan but I really need weight-loss pills and need ones that will work (i’m not just going to take the pills, I’ll continue my daily exercises and correct eating, i’m good with that). Please help me out, I heard Acai Berry supplements were useful??
We should all learn something every day and hopefully you will learn this.
There is no such thing as a diet pill, liquid, powder, or fat burner supplement!
Got it?
Think about it. If any of this garbage worked, why would 2/3 of the adults in the US be overweight, obese, or morbidly obese? We would be lined up without having to spend a dime advertising if someone had the magic formula.
Alli is the only over the counter weight loss pill approved by the FDA. There are only three prescription weight loss medications approved. Do you think that if any of them REALLY worked we would have a $60 billion a year industry in "weight loss" supplements?
The big three pharmaceuticals would dominate the market.
Approved or otherwise, none of these weight loss supplements guarantee anything unless you establish a healthy diet and exercise program.
So why not just establish a healthy diet and exercise program and keep your money?
You will be spending somewhere between $2 and $4 per day on a product that is not approved or guaranteed to do anything!
The only weight loss supplement I recommend is a basic multivitamin.
And yes they are dangerous. Heart, liver, kidney, intestinal, and neurological damage and death have all been the result of diet pills. That is why the FDA hasn’t approved any new ones for 14 years.
These supplement manufacturers are using human guinea pigs (you) for these products. As long as no one gets sick or dies, and they don’t get fined or shut down they will keep making and selling this junk. Whether it works or not.
This whole acai berry thing is a scam.
Acai berries are high in antioxidants.
A diet high in antioxidant foods can increase your metabolism.
An increase in metabolism can burn more calories.
More calories burned can result in weight loss.
Acai berries cause weight loss!
That is the big "stretch" these con artists are selling.
The same stretch of the imagination applies to the green tea, maquiberry, hoodia, moyoberry, gojiberry, fruta planta, and african mango seed extract pills out there.
I say it over and over and over. "If any one of these products really worked, why are there so many?"

Kind of like buying a lottery ticket isn’t it?

Ok im 13 and i weigh 117 lbs i am unhappy with the way i look and i am not snacking in between meals every time i look up an exercise to lose weight it just tells me not to eat all the time and some even tell me not to eat at all but i know that"s not a solution. My goal is to be 98 lbs all my friends are around that and they are a good skinny, and if this helps im 5′ 1" please help!
For a 5′ 1′ 13 y/o you’re the right weight. Most people weigh 98 pounds in 4th or 5th grade, so I wouldn’t suggest going below 105 unless you want to look gangly/dorky. (Not saying your friends are, just from personal experience). If you want to look good though, do H.I.T (high intensity training) (look it up) because instead of being all small and skinny you’ll be lean and muscley (not in a bad buff way though!)
